Order Processing and Shipping

Shipping Regions and Pricing:
Discover Teas ships nationwide within the territories collectively known as the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and APOs/FPOs with no extra charge via USPS.
- Orders up to $65.00: $5.95 shipping.
- Orders over $65.00: FREE shipping.
Please note that we are a US-based company and do not ship to Canada or any other international destinations not served by the United States Postal Service.
Order Processing and Fulfillment Times, Deadlines, and Exceptions:
Discover Teas is a one-person business. The current processing time BEFORE shipping for all online, phone, or custom request orders is 4–9 business days (i.e. excluding weekends and holidays). Processing times may be subject to additional delay upon circumstantial inclement weather or emergency situations beyond the control of Discover Teas and may change without notice depending on order volume.
If you need your order to arrive by 12/24/25: In order to ensure that I can fulfill, process, and ship your order in time for you to receive it in accordance with shipping partner deadlines, please order by 11:59pm Eastern on Saturday, December 6th, 2025!
Please note that once the shipping service receives the package, Discover Teas cannot control or guarantee any factors beyond that, and therefore does NOT offer priority, next-day, or any other form of express delivery service.
Receipts and Records:
You should receive an e-mail copy of your order invoice from Discover Teas at or near the time of your order. If you do not receive it within 24-48 hours, please check your Spam folder for e-mails from hello at discoverteas dot com or orders at discoverteas dot com. Any communication about issues with your order, including issues with your invoice copy not being sent, will come to you from one of those 2 e-mail addresses or by text, phone, or voicemail from (757) 847-5190.
You should also receive a tracking number from our postage provider, Stamps.com as part of the order fulfillment process BEFORE your package is dropped off at the post office. This helps our business function more efficiently so that we can ship more orders. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking to update and allow e-mails from Stamps.com to be sent to you in order to receive your tracking number, or check your Spam folder if you haven't received it.

Ordering from me may take longer than at a big box store or large online retailer, but I fill each order with gratitude and care, and my customer service is never automated.
COVID-19 IMPACTS (updated 2025):
In order to minimize risk to ourselves and our customers during this continuing ongoing public health crisis when public health benefits for the most vulnerable in our communities are being cut, we only vend in-person at indoor events WITH requirements for proof of current COVID vaccination and WITH mandatory, enforced mask requirements, OR at outdoor events which may be canceled due to weather conditions. Permanent changes include a reduction in our processing hours and the discontinuation of our local pick-up program (orders over $65 still ship free). For your safety, orders are not processed when there is any possibility of any communicable illness. You will be contacted and informed if your order fulfillment is delayed specifically due to a positive COVID test result. We hope that you and yours are keeping safe. Please consider protecting yourself and your community from COVID-19 by keeping your COVID vaccination and boosters up to date, wearing a well-fitting N95/KN95 mask over your nose and mouth, engaging in responsible social distancing where possible, testing frequently if you think you may have been exposed, and staying home to the best of your ability if you feel sick, regardless of the cause. Returns:
Due to the nature of our product, we unfortunately cannot accept product returns for tea or teaware. We are also not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit after USPS has accepted the package.
